Cats And Pills – Tablets.

Recently the oldest cat become ill and had to travel to the vet. Sadly she was diagnosed with a type of cancer. The treatment options were pills or radiation ‘therapy’. The radiation therapy was terribly expensive therefore that left the pills. Pills are fine for humans, but if you have got ever tried to administer pills to your cat then you’d understand some of the problems I’ve got had.
I usually feed my cats on a dry ‘all in one’ biscuit diet. This diet and a supplement of recent food has kept them terribly healthy for over 14years. However currently I would like to feature pills to her diet every twelve hours. So what do I feed her that will hide the pill well enough for her to eat it while not complaining? Well when some experimentation I came to the conclusion that hiding a whole pill was not the answer. Not the solution at all. Whole pills are located and removed from the food with superb accuracy. The straightforward answer is to crush the pills before adding them to the food.
( Note : The pill ought to be added to a little quantity of food – half a traditional serve or less, and that small quantity should be given to your pet BEFORE the remainder of the meal. Fish : Raw

The aim of warming up the food is to form it smellier. Most food contains a much stronger scent or smell when it is at area temperature than it does straight from the fridge.
If you wish a small amount of recent raw fish it can sometimes be purchased from your native take away food shop. If you would like to use cooked fish from a take away look bear in mind {that the} batter or bread crumbs should be removed before it is served to the cat. (Well, it should be removed if your cat will not eat the fish with it still on there..) Also bear in mind to cool the fish all the way down to concerning room temperature before you add the pill – otherwise the warmth might damage the pill.
Never microwave any pill – it may damage the active ingredients or perhaps create them toxic to your pet.

My alternative cat – that doesn’t like fish, is termed “Sox”. He does not very like chicken either. Really he prefers the biscuits over most alternative foods – unless it is meat with chili on it. He could be a nice cat
